FAQ

Who is Boost Up Sauk Centre and what are we doing?

Boost Up Sauk Centre is a group of residents who are working together to create a common vision for our community and then, engage people to help power ideas into action that benefits us all. The Sauk Centre Area Community Foundation, the Sauk Centre Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club of Sauk Centre received a grant for us to learn from our community what they love, what we could make stronger, and how to be more welcoming this summer.

What is the survey for and why are we doing it?

The Boost Up Design team wants to understand how residents of the community feel and what they both like and wish was different. To get that, we designed a simple survey and are going throughout the community to gather input. The survey responses can be anonymous, but we are also inviting people who are interested in helping us to sign up for the next part of our work later this summer and fall. We will use the survey results to see the areas where we might need to focus or make special investments that will benefit the community today and in the future.

I live outside of town, who can participate?

We define a resident as anyone who lives within the boundaries of the Sauk Centre school district, so you don’t have to live in town to participate. We want to hear from anyone that lives in our area!

I don’t live in the school district, but I work in Sauk Centre. Can I participate?

We would love to hear from you too! We have a Non-Resident version of the survey you can complete to help us understand your impressions. Simply select ‘No’ when asked if you’re a resident.

This sounds amazing! How can I follow your progress or maybe get involved to help?

Hooray! We would love to keep you in the loop and/or welcome you to our team. You can also help us by telling your friends and neighbors about this and helping their voices be heard too. You can follow us at boost.saukcentre.org or follow any of the lead organizations on Facebook:

  • Sauk Centre Area Community Foundation
  • Sauk Centre Area Chamber of Commerce
  • Rotary Club of Sauk Centre
